Wednesday

You've probably already thought of someone. A name that keeps surfacing. A face. A coworker, a neighbor, a family member who seems far from God. And if you're honest, you've been quietly hoping someone else will say something to them.

Today's Scripture: "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope." — Romans 15:13

Reflection: On Monday, we planted the foundation: Christ is our Redeemer, and he secures our place in the kingdom. Yesterday, we got honest about the excuses that keep us — and others — at arm's length from that truth.

Today, it's time to do something about it.

Here's what's freeing about the message from Sunday: you don't have to have a polished presentation. You don't have to memorize a script or have all the answers. Ruth didn't come to Israel with a theological argument. She just showed up — faithful, present, and willing.

The pastor put it simply: What would it look like to just show up and share a cup of coffee? Not to fix someone. Not to convert them in one conversation. Just to be a real friend who carries real hope — and lets that hope be visible.

The gospel is good news. Good news doesn't need to be delivered with pressure or guilt. It just needs to be shared by someone who actually believes it.

You know someone who needs to hear it. And you already have everything you need to take one small step toward them today.

Today's Application: Text or call one person on your heart this week — not to preach at them, but simply to connect. Friendship is often the first step faith walks through.

A Closing Thought: You don't have to have all the answers. You just have to be willing to show up. The Holy Spirit will handle the rest.
