Church Staff and Leadership
Pastor: Scott Harvey
Scott is a native Nebraskan, having grown up in Stapleton. He graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 1993 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked on telecommunications projects in Florida and Texas before entering Dallas Theological Seminary in 2000. After seminary, Scott and his wife Jennie returned to Nebraska where Scott was the Associate Pastor at the Burwell Baptist Church for 6 years.
Scott enjoys most sports, especially Husker football. He also likes to golf, travel, and spend time with his family.
Scott and Jennie have been married since 1997, and have two boys Joshua and Austin. Jennie grew up on a farm near Miller, South Dakota. She received a teaching degree through Grace University in Omaha and the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. She taught elementary school for 4 years in Dallas. She currently is a full time mother. Jennie enjoys playing the piano, quilting, gardening, and helping Scott at church.
Youth Pastor: Brant Taylor
Brant is also a native Nebraskan, having grown up in Aurora and Columbus. He graduated from Liberty University in 1990 with degrees in Religion and Church Ministries with a concentration on youth and counseling. He has served as a Student Ministries Pastor for 17 years. Brant is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree from his alma
mater
located in Virginia.
Brant enjoys football, car racing, running, and playing or listening to music. He also likes to "hang out" play table games with his family.
Brant and Susanne have been married since 1994, and have two boys Brittan and Brennan. Susanne grew up in Ord, Nebraska. She received Biblical Studies and Christian Counseling degrees through Grace University in Omaha. She currently is a full time mother and serves as a home school teacher. Susanne enjoys teaching, gardening, growing roses, baking and assisting Brant with Student Ministries.
Secretary: Geri Johnson
Geri has been our church secretary since the spring of 2005. If you call the church during normal business hours, it will likely be her friendly voice that answers the phone.

Our Deaconesses oversee many things in our church like funeral dinners, meals for those in need, and much more. Our three Deaconesses are:
